Bloody Mary Ingredients
To prepare Bloody Mary you need a Bloody Mary mix. These are the ingredients needed to make your cocktail.
Vodka: For the vodka you can decide to use plain vodka or fruit infused vodka. Grey Goose, Smirnoff, Ketel One are great brands of plain vodka you can use. For fruit and herbal vodka you can use pickle infused or cucumber infused vodka.
Juice: Tomato juice, lemon juice
Other Ingredients: Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, salt, prepared horseradish (optional) and some ice cubes. Celery, ground black pepper and fresh aromatic herbs for garnishing
How to Setup Bloody Mary Bar
Set up the table or bar cart in a place where guests can easily move around to access the ingredients they need.
Bloody Mary Bar Garnishes: Here are a few of our favorite garnishes for the perfect bar
Celery stalks, dill pickle spears, cucumber slices, olives, pickled asparagus, chilled shrimp, caper berries, pickled okra, cherry tomatoes, chunks of cheese, pepperoncini, lemon and lime wedges.
Seasoning: Here are some of our favorite seasoning.
Freshly ground black pepper, garlic salt, celery salt, old bay seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, lemon pepper, seasoned salts.
Bloody Mary Recipe
2 ounces vodka
1 cup tomato juice (chilled)
2 cups ice cubes
3/8 teaspoon celery salt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 tablespoon lime juice
3/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/2 teaspoon prepared horseradish (optional)
Garnishes of your choice
Note: This measurement is for 1 serving. You can adjust the measurements according to the number of servings you want.
How to Serve
1. Moisten the rim of your highball glasses with water.
2. Divide the 3/8 teaspoon celery salt into one-third and two thirds i.e. 1/4 teaspoon and 1/8 teaspoon.
Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon celery salt on a small plate, dip rim of the glasses you moistened into the salt.
3. Fill a cocktail shaker three-fourths full with ice. Add vodka, tomato juice, lemon and lime juice, Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, the remaining 1/8 celery salt, ground black pepper and horseradish (optional) to shaker.
4. Cover and shake well.
5. Place the remaining ice in the glass. Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass and garnish as desired.
Tip: If you are setting up a bar, its best to set out all the ingredients and let guests serve themselves.
